Mint Julep

Ingredients:

5 sprigs fresh mint
1 teaspoon powdered sugar
2 teaspoons water
2 1/2 ounces bourbon whiskey

Preparation:

Muddle 4 of the mint leaves, the powdered sugar and the water in a Collins glass. (To muddle, mash them all around with a spoon.)

Fill the glass with shaved or crushed ice and add the bourbon. Top with more ice and garnish with the remaining mint sprig. Serve with a straw.
