Title: Stove Pipe Bread
Yield: 1 Serving

Ingredients

  3 1/2    Cups Flour
      1    Package Active Dry Yeast
    1/2    Cup Milk
    1/2    Cup Salad Oil
    1/4    Cup Sugar
      1    Teaspoon Salt
      2    Eggs

Instructions

Measure 1 1/2 cups flour into a large mixing bowl. Add yeast and blend.
Combine milk, 1/2 cup water, oil, sugar and salt in a small sauce pan, heat
until just wardm. Add to dry ingredients, mix well. Add eggs, beat until
smooth. Add 1 cup flour, mix well. Take from beaters, and remaining cup
of flour and mix with a spoon. Spoon batter into two well-greased 1 pound
coffee cans. Cover with plastic lids, let stand in a warm place. When
dough
has risen all most to the top of cans, remove lids. Bake in a 375 degree
oven for 30-35 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes, remove from can. Wrap in
aluminum foil to keep fresh.

I didn't say these were low-cal health foods. Just something for comfort
on a
dreary day like we are having today in Bloomington, IN. Enjoy.
