Title: Mr. Food'S Bunch Of Meatballs 11/20/95
Yield: 4 Servings

Ingredients

      1 lb lean ground beef
    1/4 c  dry bread crumbs
      1    egg
      2 tb onion; finely chopped
      1    clove garlic; minced
    1/4 ts salt
    1/4 ts black pepper

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, combine all the
ingredients; mix well. Form the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and
place
on a cookie sheet that has been coated with nonstick vegetable spray.
Bake
for 10-13 minutes or until the juices run clear and no pink remains.

Yield: 12-16 meatballs

NOTES : "These are great because you can freeze them in plastic bags (once
they've cooled) and then have them at your fingertips for warming
in your
favorite soup, as a great stew main ingredient or, yes, for
topping cooked
pasta. Or heat them in tomato sauce then place them in crusty
rolls with
some sauce for tasty meatball sandwiches in no time!
