Title: Tomato Basil Squares
Yield: 20 Servings
Ingredients
1 pk Refrigerated pizza crust; 10
- oz.
2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1 oz. Parmesan cheese (1/4
-cup); grated
2 tb fresh basil leaves, snipped;
- * see note
2/3 c mayonnaise
1 clove garlic
4 plum tomatoes; thinly sliced
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375.
Using lightly floured dough roller, roll pizza crust on baking stone to
within 1 inch of edge. Sprinkle crust with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
In bowl combine remaining mozz. cheese, parmesan cheese, basil and mayo;
mix well. Press garlic over cheese mixture and mix well. Arrange
tomato slices in single layer over top of mozz. cheese on crust. Scoop
mixture over tomatoes and spread to cover evenly. Bake 15 - 20 minutes
or until top is golden and bubbly. Serve warm.
