Title: Broiled Grapefruit
Yield: 2 Servings
Ingredients
1 lg grapefruit; halved
2 ts margarine; softened
2 tb sugar
1/2 ts ground cinnamon
Instructions
Seeing I haven't posted in quite a while, I thought that I would post
lowfat from the Taste of Home Lowfat Country Cooking. Out of 455 recipes I
only have 44 formatted. Plan on formatting the rest this week. Hope you all
enjoy these.
Cut membrane out of the center of each grapefruit half. Cut around each
section so it will be easy to spoon out when eating. Place 1 teaspoons
margarine in the center of each half. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle
over each half. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over each. Broil until
butter is melted and sugar is bubbly. Serve immediately.
Serving Size: 1/2 grapefruit

Cholesterol: 0, Sodium: 44mg, Carbohydreate: 27gm, Protein: 1gm
NOTES : I was never a fan of grapefruit until I had it broiled at a
restaurant - it was so tangy and delicious! I finally got the recipe and
now make it often.
