Title: Maple Custard
Yield: 4 Servings

Ingredients

      3    eggs; beaten
    1/2 c  maple syrup
      2 c  milk
      1 ds salt

Instructions

Phil Donahue invited Willard Scott and me to do a show with him on cooking
sweet things. I offered this one to Willard and he was delighted. And yes,
Willard Scott is as charming a gentleman as you suspect.

This is quick and easy, and always a hit.

Mix all ingredients. Pour into individual molds such as small custard
dishes or very small souffl, cups. Set molds in a pan of hot water and
bake, uncovered, at 350o for 40 minutes or until the blade of a table knife
inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm or chilled.
