Moo Shu Beef

Ingredients
1 lb beef round tip steaks, 1/8 -
- 1/4 th; ick
3 c packaged cole slaw mix
2/3 c sliced green onions
1 tb corn starch, dissolved in
-1/4 c wat; er
8 md flour tortillas, warmed
1/3 c hoison sauce
Instructions
----------------------------------MARINADE----------------------------------
2 tb reduced sodium soy sauce
2 tsbpsns water
1 tb dark sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 ts sugar
(from National Cattleman's Beef Assoc.)
1. Cut steaks lengthwise in half, and then crosswise into thin strips. In
medium bowl, combine marinade ingredients; add beef, tossing to coat. Cover
& marinate in refrigerator for 20 mins.
2. Remove beef from marinade; discard marinade. Heat large non-stick
skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add beef, (1/2at a time), and
stir-fry 1-2 mins., or until outside surface is no longer pink. (DO NOT
OVERCOOK). Add cole slaw mix, green onions & cornstarch mix. Cook & stir
until sauce is thickened and bubbly.
3. To assemble, spread 1 side of tortilla with hoison sauce. Sppon 1/2 c of
beef mix in center of each tortilla. Fol bottom edge over filling. Fold
sides to ceter, overlapping edges. Serves 4.
