6 scallions

3 lg celery stalks
3 tb vegetable oil
1 1/2 c cooked chicken (or turkey;
-veal -- beef or ham);
1 strips
1 few gratings black pepper
1 c green peas; fresh or frozen
1 or
1/2 pk frozen chinese peapods
2 1/2 tb soy sauce
1 tb cornstarch
1 tb sugar
1/2 c clear chicken broth
1 cooked rice or chinese;
-noodle

Chop cabbage coarsely. Drain bean sprouts; rinse well; dry with
paper towe
