Apple Snack Bars
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients
1 c whole wheat flour
1 c quick cooking oats
3/4 ts soda
1/2 ts cinnamon
1 c applesauce
1/3 c oil
1 ts vanilla
6 oz dried chopped apples
1/2 c chopped nuts
3/4 c crushed bran flakes
2 tb margarine; melted
1/2 c honey
Instructions
Combine flour, oats, soda and spice.
Combine applesauce, honey, oil and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients.
Stir in fruits and nuts.
Combine bran and margarine. Sprinkle half over bottom of greased 13x9 pan.
Drop batter over and spread. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
