Title: All American Barbecued Beans
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients
1 sl fat-free turkey bacon -- cut
1 into 1 pieces
1/2 c onions -- chopped
1/2 c ketchup
2 tb white vinegar
2 tb water
1 tb prepared mustard
1 ts worcestershire sauce
1/8 ts salt
1/8 ts black pepper
15 1/2 oz great northern beans, canned
1 drained
1/3 c equalr spoonful sweetener
Instructions
Cook bacon pieces in medium saucepan over medium-high heat four
minutes. Add onions and cook until bacon is crisp and onions are
tender. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, white vinegar, water,
mustard, worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and beans. Reduce
heat and simmer, covered, until flavors are blended, 20 minutes. Add
sweetener.
