Title:
Dduk-Bok-Ki> Korean Marinaded Beef, Veg. & Rice Sticks
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients
300 g ricecake sticks
300 g beef
1 ts soy sauce
1/2 ts sugar
1 ts chopped scallions
1 garlic
1 ts roasted sesame
1 ts sesame oil
300 g sliced carrots
50 g sliced bamboo shoots
3 shittake
200 cucumber sticks
1/2 c water
1 ts soy sauce
1/2 ts sugar
Instructions
Cut rice sticks in 4cm in length. Split each stick into four
(radially). Scald the rice sticks in boiling water and wash them with
cold water. Cut beef into thin sticks (5 cm in length, 0.5 cm in
diameter). Marinate beef in sauce for about 20 min. Fry the marinated
beef in a skillet. When the beef is cooked, pour 1/2 cup of water and
heat to boil.
Add carrots, bamboo shoots, shittakes, cucumbers, and rice sticks to
the skillet and keep boiling until all items are cooked. Add to the
skillet.
Disclaimer: I've never cooked 'Dduk-Bok-Ki' in my life. So I don't
know how it'll be turned out to be. If rice sticks have been already
hardened before cutting, scald them in a boiling water slightly to
make them soft. Cutting will be much easier.
