Title: Caribbean Bay After-Shave
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients
------------------CHRISTMAS WITH SOUTHERN LIVI------------------------
------------------------------1987------------------------------------
1/4 c lemon verbena, fresh
1/4 c lemon verbena, dried
4 bay leaves, fresh
2 bay leaves, dried
1 ts lemon peel, grated
1/2 c water; boiling
1 1/2 c witch hazel
6 dr orange oil
Instructions
They're crisp and refreshing as only nature can be. Mix up a batch of
after-shaves to pamper that special man on your list and an array of
body rubs for your active friends; then present your tinctures in
clearly beautiful bottles. Witch hazel, itself derived from the
leaves and bark of the witch hazel shrub, becomes the soothing base
for these lotions.
Bruise herbs and cover with boiling water. Cool and strain into witch
hazel. Label "For External Use Only."
