Best Waffle Recipe

Ingredients
1 3/4 c sifted all-purpose flour
2 ts baking powder
1/2 ts salt
1 tb sugar
3 egg yolks; beaten
1 1/2 c milk
7 tb melted shortening or cooking
- oil
3 egg whites; stiffly beaten
Instructions
Sift together dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Combine egg yolks &
milk. Stir into dry ingredients. Stir in cooking oil. Carefully fold in
egg whites, leaving a few little fluffs. Do not over mix. Bake in
preheated waffle iron or baker. Very light and crispy!!
