Title: Homemade Pancake Syrup

Ingredients

  1 1/2 c  brown sugar; packed
    3/4 c  water
      1 tb butter or margarine
      1 ds salt
    1/2 ts maple flavoring

Instructions

Mix brown sugar, water, butter and dash of salt in a sauce pan. Heat to
boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in
maple flavoring. Serve warm.
