1 lb potato; boiled
1 lb turnips; boiled
2 tb finely chopped chives
1 salt and freshly ground
-black peppe; r
2 oz butter or margarine
Instructions
Boil the potatoes and turnips separately and let them dry in a colander
over the stove. Mash them together with the butter or margarine ensuring
an even mix, stir in the chopped chives, season to taste, put into a hot
dish and serve very hot.
This is traditionally served with haggis.
