Ingredients

  --------------------BANANA AND PINEAPPLE SOUP-------------------------
    1/4 ts coriander
    1/4 ts celery salt
      1 ts salt
      1 pn cayenne
      2 c  sliced ripe banana
      2 c  diced ripe pineapple
      2 c  pineapple juice
      1 ts lemon juice
      1 ts fresh ginger; chopped fine
 
  ----------------------MANGOCRANBERRY SOUP-----------------------------
      1 c  mango sorbet
      2    ripe mangos; peeled and
           -chopped
      1 c  cranberry juice
    1/3 c  cranberries or cranberry
           -chutney
      1 ts salt
    1/2 ts spearmint leaves; dry or
           -fresh,
      1    ; finely chopped
    1/2 ts curry powder
 
  ----------------------BLUEBERRYAPPLE SOUP-----------------------------
      3 c  apple cider
      1 tb lemon juice; 1/2 cup orange
      1    ; juice
    1/4 c  root beer
    1/4 c  honey
    1/4 ts nutmeg
    1/4 ts allspice
    1/4 ts ground black pepper
      1 ts salt
      1 pn saffron
      1 c  blueberries
      3    mcintosh apples; peeled,
           -chopped
      1    ; into 1/2-inch
      1    ; pieces

Instructions

Puree all ingredients in food processor until smooth. Remove to serving
bowl.
Chill 1 hour or longer. If desired for garnish, puree 2 peeled kiwis in
processor. Spoon kiwi on top of each soup bowl when serving.

Yield: 4 servings

MANGO-CRANBERRY SOUP:

Puree all ingredients in food processor until smooth.

Yield: 4 servings

BLUEBERRY-APPLE SOUP:

In a 2-quart pot simmer 2 cups of the cider, other liquids and seasonings.
In
a food processor place remaining cider, blueberries and apples; pulse until
almost smooth. Pour fruit into simmering liquid; whisk and cook 5 minutes.
Serve hot. If desired, garnish with dried apples or other fruit.
