Title: Spicy Shredded Beef W/Angel Hair Pasta
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients
1/2 c chicken stock or water
3 tb soya sauce
1 1/2 ts cornstarch
12 oz lean tender beef, such as
-sirloin,; cut into very thi
4 ts vegetable oil
1 tb minced gingerroot
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 ts oriental chili paste or 1/2
-tsp red; pepper flakes
2 c snow peas, trimmed and
-halved
1 lg red bell pepper, cut into
-thin 2 in; ch strips
4 green onions, chopped
8 oz angel hair pasta
Instructions
In a glass measuring cup, combine stock, soya sauce and cornstarch.
Pat meat dry with paper towels.
In a wok or large nonstick skillet, heat half the oil over high heat.
Add beef and stir-fry until browned; transfer to a plate. Add
remaining oil to skillet. Add ginger, garlic and chili paste; cook,
stirring, for 15 seconds. Stir in snow peas, red pepper and green
onions; cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add stock/soya mixture; cook
until thickened. Return beef to skillet; cook, stirring, for 30
seconds.
Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender but
firm. Drain well; return to pot. Add beef mixture and toss well.
Serve immediately. Yield: 4 servings Typed in MMFormat by
