Title: Ole Salad
Yield: 10 Servings
Ingredients
1 dressing:
1/2 c ketchup
1/2 c mayonnaise
1 salad:
1 lb lean hamburger
1 pk taco seasoning mix
1 head lettuce, shredded
1/2 head red cabbage, shredded
1 cn (19 oz) red kidney beans,
-drained
1 cn (19 oz) pitted black olives,
- sliced
1 bn green onions, chopped
2 c cheddar cheese, grated
3/4 c celery, sliced
1 tomato, quartered & chopped
1 to 1 1/2 cups corn chips,
-crushed
Instructions
Mix ketchup and mayonnaise; refrigerate until ready to
use. Pan fry hamburger. Drain and add the Taco
seasoning. Mix well and continue frying until well
cooked. Set aside. Layer a large salad bowl with the
ingredients, ending with tomato. Garnish with crushed
corn chips. Toss with dressing when ready to use.
