Classic Chocolate Cake
Yield: 1 Serving
Ingredients
2 c sugar
2 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c cocoa
1 stick butter
1 c water
1/2 c oil
2 eggs
1/2 c buttermilk
1 1/2 ts baking soda
1 ts almond extract
1 cn icing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350.
In large bowl mix together sugar, flour & cocoa. In saucepan melt butter,
water & oil together. Bring to boil. Pour over dry mixture. Blend well.
Add eggs, buttermilk, baking soda & almond extract. Blend thoroughly.
Pour into rectangular baking pan. Microwave until toothpick inserted in
center of cake comes out clean. About 10-12 minutes. Remove cake from
oven. Spread icing evenly over cake. Cool. Add a few candles or a lot
of candles & happy birthday!!
