Mozzarella-Stuffed Mushrooms
Yield: 6 Servings
Ingredients
1 lb fresh mushrooms
1/3 c melted butter; divided
1/3 c chopped onion
1/3 c chopped pepperoni
1/3 c shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 ts Italian seasoning
1/4 ts garlic salt
1/3 c seasoned bread crumbs
Instructions
Clean mushrooms with a dmap cloth; remove stems, leaving caps intact. Chop
stems. Brush caps with butter; set aside.
Saute onion and mushroom stems in remaining butter; add pepperoni,
mozzarella, seasonings, and breadcrumbs. Mix well, and spoon into mushroom
caps. Place in a buttered baking dish. Bake @ 350F for 15 min or until
hot
& bubbly.
