Title: Egg Casserole
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients
4 sl white bread; maybe more
butter
3/4 lb bacon or
8oz sausage
2/3 c mild cheddar cheese *; cubed
- or shredded
8 eggs; slightly beaten
1 ts dry mustard
2 ts parsley
1 1/2 c milk
Instructions
Butter a 13x9 pyrex pan. Remove crust from bread. Butter slices and line
bottome of pan with bread. (I use more bread here.) Fry and crumble bacon
or sausage over bread. Sprinkle cheese over meat. In large bowl, combine
remeaining ingredients and pour over cheese evenly. Cover with foil,
refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours. Bake at 350 for 50 minutes.
*I like more cheese so I have used a whole cup of shredded cheddar with
fine results.
