1/2 c olive oil
1/3 c cumin seed; crushed
1 1/2 tb garlic; chopped
1 tb liquid smoke flavoring
1 tb kosher (coarse) salt
1 ts ground red pepper
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Spread on steaks before you cook
them. Store unused rub that hasn't come into contact with raw foods in an
airtight container in the refrigerator.
Yield: about 1/2 cup
